Community Groups

At NewLife, we recognize the importance of community in our walk with Jesus. Community Groups are gospel-centered environments where people can connect, serve, grow, and be transformed by the Gospel of Christ. Below is a list of groups that are currently running at NewLife. If you are interested in any of the following Community Groups, please sign up by visiting our online signup page, or contact the group leader. Overcoming People-Pleasing

It’s a struggle that goes by many names: peer pressure, codependency, people-pleasing. Or, as the Bible calls it, the fear of man. For many of us, underneath many of our sins and struggles is a simple but hard to overcome problem: people are too big and God is too small. In this group, we will read and discuss how we see this challenge affecting our lives and let God reorient our eyes and fear to their proper place.

Leader: Eric Stillman
