Sunday Services at 10:00am
1155 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield
Welcome to the on-line home of NewLife Christian Fellowship. We are a non-denominational church that meets in Wethersfield at 1155 Silas Deane Highway, committed to joining God in his mission of transforming lives, transforming our community, and transforming our world, by the gospel of Christ, to the glory of God. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We hope you will come and visit us on a Sunday morning!
Our Sunday morning worship gathering is held in a converted white office building on the corner of the Silas Deane Hwy and Mill St, with the front entrance facing Mill St. There is an entrance in the front of the building as well as a rear entrance on the lower level. If you have children between the ages of 6 months up to 3 years old, you are welcome to drop them off in the nursery in the southeast corner of the church building before proceeding to the sanctuary. Older children will stay with you until they are dismissed to Sunday School around 10:25. Sunday School is offered every week for children up to the fifth grade.
Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00 and usually ends between 11:15 and 11:30. The main components are a time of singing, with a mix of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns, and a sermon based on a passage from the Bible. Recent sermon series have included Hebrews: Jesus is Greater, and Practical Christianity. After the sermon, tithes and offerings are collected, and there is another time of singing before the benediction. At the end of worship, all are welcome to either remain in the sanctuary for prayer or more personal time with God, or to stay and get to know each other over refreshments.
Jesus said in Matthew 25:35 that when we welcome a stranger, we are actually welcoming him. In that spirit, we invite you to join us, and hope that we would truly treat you as if you were Jesus Himself coming into our midst. Please feel free to dress casually and to come with all of your faith, doubts, hopes and fears. You are welcome here.
